Inspired is a state I love to be in. I crave it and try to structure my life to aid being in an inspired state. It is almost like being in a dream world where there are no barriers, where all things are possible. In my inspired state, I am a better human than when I am not inspired. I rise above petty, base, inhibitive thoughts.
I would liken being inspired to what the bible describes as faith. According to the Bible, when I am in faith, I am in love (since faith works by love) and all things are possible for me. Living by faith is like living in another world, where there are no limitations. My only limitation is within me, not without. I love it.
Patanjali describes what happens when we are inspired:
“When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all your thoughts break their bonds; your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction, and you find yourself in a new, great and wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive, and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be.”
It is one of my best quotes.
